World's first remote maintenance module with ship class approval
FLEMMING Automationstechnik GmbH is the first company worldwide to receive DNVs class approval for the remote maintenance module TELEVISITOR. The module enables secure remote access to automation systems via a satellite or 3G/4G/5G data link, even for important ship function groups such as main propulsion, steering or cargo handling. Thus, only Flemming automation systems offer the possibility of real 24/7 service support, reducing downtime to almost zero. In addition to the time savings, the not inconsiderable costs for travel expenses are also reduced to zero.
The absolute highlight, however, is that the Televisitor not only supports the EMSR technicians in troubleshooting, but the access can also be used by process engineers or superintendents. The user receives the same view as the operator on site. Thus, the TELEVISITOR can also be used to solve process engineering problems and optimize functions.
